WV EMS Coalition Monitoring Developments on Broker RFP

Last week, the West Virginia EMS Coalition notified our membership that Medicaid had canceled the RFP related to the transportation broker. We have since learned that Medicaid intends to issue another RFP in the near future for a transportation broker. However, the Coalition believes the next RFP will be modified to exclude “stretcher” (ambulance) services.
